Hi Guys welcome, friend if you love Xiaomi phones and thinking of buying best budgets phone under 10,000 than here is great news for you, Recently a couple of mid-range phones have just arrived and the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and the Redmi 5 plus despite the name they’re both actually the newest generation of Xiaomi Redmi note series. So let’s take a quick look at it.
The redmi 5 plus look-wise the phone look almost same, white face and the golden back color combination the phone feel very premium with these color combination. One thing there is a lack of this phone there is no waterproofing but what will be expected from a low budget phone, so keep in mind before taking the phone outside. The redmi 5 plus has got the 5.9 inch IPS LCD display while the redmi 5 is the smaller one with 5.7 inch IPS LCD display both phone are very tall and comes with 18:9 aspect ratio. The redmi 5 plus has a resolution if 1080p while the smaller version has less pixel density of 720p. There is a single speaker at the bottom although the design makes it seem like there are two speakers. Like almost every Xiaomi phone this phone has also got IR blaster at the top which can be used to control appliances from the phone also there is a 3.5 MM headphone jack with built-in FM radio, there are no capacitive touch buttons at the bottom while there are on-screen navigation buttons.
The Redmi 5 and 5 plus both the phone have a 12 MP main shooter camera with f2.2 lens and led flash on the back and there’s a 5-megapixel selfie camera but neither the selfie camera nor the main camera allows for Bokeh Effect.
The are three storage variant of the phone one with 3 GB ram and 32 GB storage second with 4 GB and 32 GB and last with 2GB and 16 Storage capacity. Both the phone running on its stock OS MIUI 9 android version of nougat 7.1.2. Xiaomi has gone with octa-core chipset for both phones a Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 CPU Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 with GPU of Adreno 506.
Both the phones appears very similar specs and performance although there will be a bit different in the battery capacity the redmi 5 has 3300mAh battery and the redmi 5 plus has 4000mAh battery capacity there is fast charging support in my case half an hour I was able to charge from 0 to 34% on redmi 5 and 29% on redmi 5 plus.
Both the phones are now available on the Indian market you can buy the phone from Amazon and Xiaomi’s official website mi.com with the price tag of Rs 10,999, Rs 8,999, and Rs 7,999.
